Play Sand

Play Sand can be either Mason Sand or Concrete Sand. There is not a sand that is made “special for play sand”. Some market it that way but we all buy the same sand. Mason sand is very fine, great for a play area. However, it is not great for building tunnels or forts; it is too fine and doesn’t hold structure. Concrete sand is more coarse and works great for tunnels and forts, but a little more abrasive on the knees and hands when falling.
